The global GSSA, Air Logistics Group, continues to expand its network with the opening of its 60th office located in Sydney, Australia. This follows the recent expansion of Air Logistics Group across Asia with operations launched in Thailand, Singapore & Malaysia over the summer of 2012.
“Until 5 years ago Air Logistics Group was widely known as a European GSSA, growing its presence in the Americas, but now it is also making its presence felt in the Asia-Pacific region”, comments Vikram Singh, who is developing the network across the Asia Pacific region on behalf of Air Logistics’ investors, “With a growing portfolio of airlines in the region, Air Logistics is fast becoming a well known provider of professional cargo sales solutions”.
“The market in Asia has changed dramatically in the past few years and the need for a globally branded service provider is certainly there”, Singh continues, “We are the largest multinational GSSA in India, the only international GSSA with an A-License in China and the only international GSSA in Japan. Combined with our network in Europe, the Americas and Africa, we can add significant value to our airline customers in Asia”.
Industry recognition is not going unnoticed in Asia, at both the Stat Times Awards earlier this year and the recent Payload Asia Awards, where Air Logistics Group was recognized as ‘GSA of the Year’ for 2012.
“With the opening of our 60th office in Australia, Air Logistics Group is now present in 6 continents across the globe. This is a very proud moment for us to say we truly are a Global Network Airline Cargo Partner”, comments Stephen Dawkins, Chief Operating Officer, Air Logistics Group.
'These are very exciting times, as economies remain neutral, our investors remain committed to expanding our business with significant investment, be it organic or via acquisition, and offering our airline and forwarding clients cost effective outsource solutions in every corner of the world. Our clients know the brand; they know that it stands for integrity, professionalism and compliance with the added value that it is fiscally strong – a true airline partner.”
“This is a landmark opening in a strategically important city and continent”, concludes Dawkins.
The Air Logistics Group network now totals 60 offices across 38 countries, with further expansion planned across the Asia-Pacific region in the coming months.
